About the Role: We are seeking a talented and passionate Robotics Engineer to join our team and play a key role in the development of next-generation autonomous robots for industrial applications. You will leverage your expertise in Robot Operating System (ROS) and other robotics software to design, develop, and implement robust navigation solutions for our robots, enabling them to operate safely and efficiently in diverse industrial environments. Responsibilities: Design and develop software for autonomous navigation of robots using ROS and other robotics frameworks Integrate various sensors (LiDAR, camera, IMU) and actuators (motors, encoders) with the robot platform and develop control algorithms for navigation and obstacle avoidance Implement algorithms for path planning, localization, and mapping for autonomous navigation in dynamic environments Optimize robot performance for efficiency, accuracy, and safety in industrial settings Collaborate with mechanical. electrical, and software engineers to ensure seamless integration of software with the overall robotic system Conduct thorough testing and debugging of navigation software Maintain and document technical designs and software code Preferred Skills: Experience with other robotics software tools (e.g., MoveIt, Rviz) Experience with machine learning and computer vision for robotics applications Working knowledge of LIDAR, Depth Cameras, machine vision tools, and cobots Understanding of microcontrollers (specifically ARM, STM32) Knowledge of industrial automation and related protocols (wired and wireless) Strong proficiency in Python and C++ programming languages Experience with sensor data processing, algorithms for path planning, localization, and mapping Understanding of control systems theory and robotics principles Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills Strong communication, collaboration, and teamwork abilities Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science (or a related field) Minimum 2+ years of experience in developing robotic software using ROS or ROS2
