Job Description As a Robotics Mechanical Intern at Sakar Robotics, you will play a critical role in our engineering team, contributing to the design, development, and testing of mechanical systems for our robotics projects. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the design and development of mechanical components and systems for robotics applications, using CAD software and engineering principles. Participate in the assembly and testing of robotic prototypes, identifying improvements and solutions to mechanical challenges. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers and electrical engineers, to ensure the integration of mechanical systems with other system components. Conduct research on new materials, technologies, and methods to improve robot design, performance, and. reliability. Document design processes, tests, and analysis results, contributing to technical reports and presentations. Requirements Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field. Strong foundation in mechanical design principles, materials science, and manufacturing processes. Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD). Basic understanding of electronics and software integration in mechanical systems. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as independently. Passion for robotics and a desire to contribute to innovative projects.
