About the job Electrical and Electronics Engineer - Power Electronics Bengaluru, IN In this position, you will design, develop, validate and maintain the plans for automotive power electronic Systems. Requirements: Design and Development: Lead the design and development of power electronics systems for electric vehicles, including inverters, converters, and battery management systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate power electronics solutions into EV drivetrains. Testing and Validation: Conduct. testing and validation of power electronics components and systems to ensure they meet performance, eciency, and safety standards. Analyze test data and make design improvements based on test results. Optimization and Eciency: Optimize power electronics systems for maximum eciency, performance, and reliability. Implement advanced control algorithms to enhance system eciency and responsiveness. Prototyping: Develop prototypes and proof-of-concept models for new power electronics designs. Work closely with hardware and rmware engineers to ensure seamless integration. Collaboration: Collaborate with other engineers, including mechanical, electrical, and software engineers, to achieve integrated and cohesive power electronics solutions. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations related to power electronics in electric vehicles. Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends. Troubleshooting and Debugging: Investigate and resolve power electronics-related issues during development and testing phases. Provide support for production-related challenges. Documentation: Prepare comprehensive documentation, including design specications, test plans, and technical reports. Contribute to patent applications for innovative power electronics solutions. Qualications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related eld. 3 to 4 years of experience in power electronics design, particularly in the electric vehicle industry. Strong understanding of power semiconductor devices and their applications. Prociency in simulation tools such as SPICE or MATWORKS. Experience with control systems and algorithms for power electronics applications. Knowledge of thermal management techniques for power electronics in automotive applications. Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to electric vehicles. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Effective communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams.Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
