Required Skills
We are building a next-generation Managed Services capability that blends automation, industry best practices, and deep cloud expertise with Hyderabad as a critical hub. We are seeking a high-energy and visionary Senior Manager - Managed Services to establish and lead our Managed Services capability in Hyderabad. This role will play a pivotal part in shaping AISs global delivery model, supporting pre-sales pursuits, and driving operational excellence with automation and modern tooling. You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver consistent, scalable, and high-impact services that set AIS apart in the market.
Key Responsibilities
1. Build & Lead Hyderabad Delivery Hub
- Stand up and scale a world-class managed services team in Hyderabad.
- Hire, mentor, and lead a high-performing team aligned with customer SLAs and internal quality goals.
- Build a strong foundation of governance, rigor, and proactive service culture.
2. Establish Best Practices & Operational Excellence
- Design and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs), SLAs, and governance structures.
- Introduce and operationalize automation and AI Ops techniques to improve efficiency.
- Ensure seamless coordination with onshore leads and delivery managers.
3. Pre-Sales & Solutioning Enablement
- Partner with sales and solutioning teams to develop proposals, RFP responses, and pricing models.
- Create standardized managed services offerings that are easy to position and scale.
- Bring a differentiated, consultative approach to customer discussions.
4. Tools, Automation, and Differentiation
- Recommend and implement leading ITSM, monitoring, and automation tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Azure Monitor, Logic Apps).
- Build reusable accelerators and service frameworks to support scale.
- Promote a mindset of insight-led operations rather than reactive ticket handling.
5. Stakeholder Engagement & Governance
- Participate in internal and customer-facing QBRs, governance calls, and escalation management.
- Ensure services are aligned to business outcomes, KPIs, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with the U.S.-based leadership and Microsoft partner ecosystem.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in IT services, with at least 5 years in a managed services or operations leadership role.
- Proven success in building and scaling managed services delivery teams, preferably in India.
- Deep familiarity with the Microsoft ecosystem (Azure, M365, Power Platform) and cloud support models.
- Experience with automation frameworks and ITSM tools like ServiceNow, Jira, or Freshservice.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to support sales cycles and translate technical capabilities into business value.
- A builders mindset with fire in the belly to lead, innovate, and differentiate.
