  • We are looking for a talented and experienced Software Engineer to join our team at the IC Level 3 or 4, depending on your experience and expertise

    • What You'll Do:

  • System Design & Development: Lead the design and implementation of event-driven systems, data pipelines, and complex distributed architectures.
  • Performance Optimization:
  • Profile and debug Spring Boot applications, identifying and resolving bottlenecks.
  • Optimize REST API performance for scalability and low latency.
  • Debug and profile Java applications effectively, ensuring system reliability.
  • Optimize PostgreSQL queries for speed and efficiency.
  • Work on Akka and Pekko-based applications for distributed, reactive systems.
  • Monitoring and Visualization:
  • Proficiency in using Grafana to create queries and build insightful dashboards.
  • Monitor system performance and proactively identify issues.
  • Kubernetes Expertise:
  • Deploy and manage applications in Kubernetes environments.
  • Debug applications running in Kubernetes to ensure stability and performance.
  • Cloud Expertise: Utilize Azure/AWS Cloud Services to deploy, monitor, and optimize applications.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Create and manage infrastructure using frameworks like Terraform to ensure reproducibility and scalability.
  • Event-Driven Systems: Design and develop systems leveraging Kafka or similar message broker systems.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, operations, and other engineering teams to translate requirements into functional systems.
  • Technical Leadership (Optional): Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
  • What You'll Bring:
  • Strong preference for candidates with a background in product companies.
  • Proven track record in designing and building event-driven systems and data pipelines.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in the JVM ecosystem, including profiling and debugging Spring Boot applications.
  • Strong knowledge of REST API performance optimization and distributed system design.
  • Hands-on experience with optimizing PostgreSQL queries for performance.
  • Familiarity with Akka and Pekko for building reactive systems.
  • Kubernetes experience, including debugging applications in a Kubernetes environment.
  • Proficiency in creating Grafana queries and building dashboards for monitoring and visualization.
  • Deep understanding of Azure/AWS Cloud Services and their application to real-world systems.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with Kafka or similar technologies.
  • Proficiency in Terraform or equivalent IaC tools.
  • Ability to architect robust, scalable, and efficient systems for complex business requirements.
  • Daily Activities:

  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Demonstrated ability to work across teams to translate business requirements into functional, technical systems.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate design decisions, technical trade-offs, and challenges.
