Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION MANAGER / SR MANAGER - E-COMMERCE E-commerce Manager, is a senior-level executive responsible for overseeing and driving the entire e-commerce strategy and operations of a company. Critical role in developing, implementing, and executing the organization's online business to achieve revenue and growth targets. Also manage various aspects of the e-commerce operation, including website management, online marketing campaigns, inventory management, and customer service. The goal is to optimize the online shopping experience, drive sales, and enhance customer satisfaction. RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. WEBSITE/MOBILE APP MANAGEMENT: a. Coordinate & maintain the company's e-commerce website & Mobile Application (Frontend & Backend) to ensure functionality, user-friendliness, and security with external vendor. b. Coordinate with developers to implement necessary changes and enhancements. c. Monitor website performance metrics, such as traffic, bounce rate, and conversion rate. and make data-driven decisions to improve user experience and increase sales. 2. PRODUCT MANAGEMENT : a. Manage the online product catalogue, including product listings, descriptions, images, and pricing. b. Monitor inventory levels, product description and coordinate with relevant teams to ensure sufficient stock availability to maximise sales potential. c. Work closely with suppliers and vendors to negotiate pricing, terms, and product availability. 3. CUSTOMER SERVICE : a. Monitor and respond to customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints received through various online channels, including email, chat, and social media. b. Ensure timely resolution of customer issues and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. c. Implement customer service best practices and policies to enhance the online shopping experience. d. Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing e-commerce team. Set clear goals and provide guidance to team members to drive productivity and achieve results. e. Continuously analyze and improve the online customer journey. Implement strategies to enhance user experience, reduce cart abandonment rates, and increase customer satisfaction. 4. ANALYTICS & REPORTING : a. Generate regular reports on e-commerce performance, including sales trends, website traffic, conversion rates, and customer behaviour. b. Analyse data to identify opportunities for improvement and implement strategies to optimize performance. c. Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on data analysis. 5. MARKETING AND PROMOTIONS: a. Develop and implement online marketing strategies to drive traffic to the website and increase sales. b. Plan and execute online marketing campaigns to drive traffic, conversion, and customer retention. Utilize digital marketing channels such as SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media to increase visibility and sales. c. Utilize various digital marketing channels, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media, affiliate marketing, and online advertising. d. Analyse marketing campaign performance and adjust strategies as needed to optimize ROI and achieve sales targets. PAYMENT AND SECURITY: Ensure the e-commerce platform is secure, complies with relevant regulations, and facilitates smooth and safe payment transactions. LOGISTICS PARTNERS : Analyse logistics partners delivery rates and keep on working on service improvement area. Also management of VAN supplies and sales. CROSS-FUNCTIONAL COLLABORATION: Collaborate with various departments, including marketing, sales, IT, and customer service, to align e-commerce activities with the overall company strategy. COMPETITIVE ANALYSIS: Keep abreast of industry trends and competitors" activities to identify opportunities and challenges in the e-commerce landscape. Requirements: Exp : 8 - 10 yrs Education : Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. Near to office location will be given preference
