Job Description
- Prepare and maintain financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards (IND-AS/IFRS).
- Handle statutory compliance including GST, TDS, Income Tax, ROC filings, etc.
- Assist in internal and statutory audits, and liaise with auditors.
- Monitor and manage cash flow, working capital, and bank reconciliations.
- Conduct variance analysis and assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Review and verify accounting entries, ledgers, and balance sheets.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing process.
- Contribute to improving internal controls and accounting systems.
- Provide financial data to management for decision-making.
Requirements:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (Member of ICAI)
- 0 to 1 year of relevant experience in accounting, taxation, or audit.
- Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards and tax laws.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, QuickBooks).
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in [industry, e.g., FMCG, manufacturing, or IT] is a plus.
- Exposure to ERP systems like SAP or Oracle.
- Working knowledge of international taxation or transfer pricing (if applicable).
