Job Description


Strategy and planning for MVCC business pan India and AOP preparation in consultation with NSM / HOD and as per the guideline
Manage team of Sales managers across the country and provide the intellectual support for their business development activities and achieving the sales targets.
Responsible for achieving MVCC Sales target as per AOP by expanding business with existing direct customers.
Provide product expertise and support for while working with the internal and external EPC team to execute supply of MVCC products for turnkey EPC contracts.
Must start working with the target Electrical Utilities at an early stage so technical specifications can be customized to incorporate MVCC in the tender. This will require influencing the customer and making them understand the need and benefits of MVCC over bare conductors and thus creating a demand for the product.
Must have strong relationship and working experience with key utilities across the country. He should be proactive in managing the utilities and be able to influence the PQ requirements for MVCC in tenders to keep competition at bay.
Responsible for generating enquiries, finalizing orders and other post order activities inspection, dispatch Clearance and payment collection.
Responsible for Business development and increasing the customer base by adding new customers and ensuring the required product and brand approvals with end customers, consultants, architects, govt departments etc
Responsible for P&L of his region
Work closely with the Cables Sales team spread across the country to increase sales volume. Provide them the required technical and price support to pitch the product and close the order in our favour.
Periodic Team review and guidance to team and implementing correcting measures for achieving targeted results
Attending Annual/Quarterly/Monthly Review with management, Providing Market intelligence, MIS for Management and Presentations
Key Relationships
Sales team, Cables Sales team, Customers, Consultants etc
Plant Heads, Commercial, Marketing Head, HR Partner and Senior Management
Education
A graduate degree preferably an Electrical engineer / MBA
Experience
Minimum 15 years of experience in B2B business of Electrical equiments Power Transformers, Cables, RMUs, MV Switchgears, MV Panels etc
Must have worked as an Regional Manager in Technical sales or business development handling key utilties as primary customers
Should have working knowledge of Government Tender business processes and should have handled atleast 2 large utilities in India
Should have strong relationships with key management personnel in govt or private utilities atleast in southern region or western region
Should be able to make technical presentations to key customers on the MVCC line of products
Should have lead/ handled cross functional teams both external and internal for executing the supply and installation orders.
