Job Description

: As a Talend ETL Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying efficient and scalable ETL jobs using Talend Data Integration. Your primary focus will be on extracting, transforming, and loading data from various sources into our enterprise data warehouse, with a strong emphasis on data accuracy and integrity. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver high-quality data solutions. Responsibilities: 1. Design and develop ETL workflows using Talend Data Integration to extract, transform, and load data from heterogeneous data sources into the data warehouse. 2. Create and optimize PL-SQL scripts and queries to support data transformation and manipulation. 3. Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and. translate them into technical specifications. 4. Troubleshoot ETL job failures and performance issues, identifying and resolving bottlenecks. 5. Create and maintain technical documentation, including data mappings, transformation logic, and data lineage. 6. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to enhance code quality and best practices. 7. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in ETL technologies and best practices. Qualifications: 1. Proven experience as a Talend ETL Developer, with a strong understanding of ETL concepts and methodologies. 2. Solid experience with Oracle database development, including writing complex PL-SQL scripts and queries. 3. Proficiency in data warehousing concepts and design principles. 4. Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git, or similar, along with uDeployment for code deployment and release management. 5. Familiarity with data modeling and data integration best practices. 6. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. 8. Knowledge of data governance and data security practices is a plus.
