(Work from office Bengaluru) We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our dynamic team. As an SDET, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our mobile applications, server-side. applications, and websites in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with our development and QA teams to design and implement automated testing solutions and to identify and address any potential issues or defects in our software products. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain automated test scripts for mobile applications (iOS and Android), server-side applications, and websites. Collaborate with development and QA teams to understand project requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage. Execute test cases and analyze test results to identify defects, performance issues, and areas for improvement. Work closely with developers to reproduce, debug, and resolve issues identified during testing. Participate in agile/scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. Continuously research and evaluate new testing tools and technologies to improve testing processes and efficiency. Contribute to the overall quality assurance strategy and participate in process improvement initiatives. Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to provide status updates, report issues, and collaborate on solutions. Mentor and coach junior members of the QA and development teams to promote best practices and professional growth. Adapt quickly to changing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment & some experience & knowledge in AR/VR space. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript. Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and tools such as Appium, Selenium, XCTest, Espresso, JUnit, TestNG, etc. Experience testing mobile applications on both iOS and Android platforms. Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman or REST Assured. Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI. Experience working in an agile development environment and familiarity with agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with performance testing and profiling tools such as JMeter or Gatling. Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes. Experience testing microservices architectures. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. ISTQB or other relevant software testing certifications.
