As a Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Corporate Investment Banking's Athena Core group, you will be part of a cross-asset platform transforming technology team. Job responsibilities: Act as a technical lead for DevOps processes Serve as a focal person in the new India office, helping to recruit DevOps engineers to the office Define and set development, test, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operation while. considering security, stability and resiliency of the processes Support Athena Client release that serves thousands of developers and the largest python code base in the world and deployed to Windows, Linux and AWS servers around the globe Onboard and upgrade third party libraries Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills: Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience 2 years of experience as a DevOps tech lead Working knowledge of various tools, open-source technologies, and cloud services Experience in software development in Python/C++ Experience building and maintenance of CI pipelines including Jenkins pipelines, Git Experience with build tools (such as make, cmake, SCons or others) Knowledge of CI/CD processes, security and operating systems Troubleshooting techniques and fixing the code bugs Excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written Collaborative team spirit Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills: Experience with the public cloud, preferably AWS Upgrading open source and commercial vendor libraries while maintaining backward compatibility Hands-on experience delivering system design, application development and testing Experience in C++ Development & debugging Knowledge of Agile Methodologies
