Job Description

We are looking for committed individuals to compliment our qualified educators in schools. As a Shri Educator you will be responsible for adding the "fun'in learning and ensuring that each child enjoys the school experience. The ideal candidate will be passionate for the job with an ability to form a connect with students and create a relationship of mutual love and trust. They will know how to ease the transition from home to school and make school a happy place. Principal Accountability & Responsibilities Curriculum Development Research, development and documentation of curriculum for various projects Coordinate with the quality checking resources to ensure that the curriculum is in line with the expectation Enriching the Elementary curriculum as per the requirement and parameters set by SEL Enriching and developing Elementary workbooks to support the SEL curriculum Creating and maintaining of the curriculum documents to support programme requirements Collaborative. learning and teaching sessions to strengthen teacher competency and confidence Customized training programmes / Training & Development. Collate the training needs identified during lesson observations and interactions with the teaching faculty Research, preparation and conducting the programmes for staff of SEL schools Conduct of customized training programmes- both Generic and Domain related for staff of SEL schools Coordinate and conduct professional development sessions for the teaching staff. Create Domain related training modules to use at SEL Schools to strengthen pedagogy. Documentation of systems as per design brief Creation and periodic review of policy documents (including existing). Ensure documentation of the required policies for SEL in line with the services offered as per design brief. Ensure customization and implementation of the policies in line with the requirements for each project Project plans Provide support in design and implementation of new consultancy projects Provide support in all the processes for proper day to day functioning of SEL schools Planning and attending various events in SEL schools School Co-ordination (for Domain Support only) Collating documents for record and reference (LO forms and visit reports) Contribute & Coordinate (wherever applicable) of the monthly operations meetings at SEL (Elementary & Junior School Hindi) for all SEL schools Add value and enrich student /teacher learning through explorative engagement and experiences. Conduct demos and micro teaching sessions at schools to enhance and enrich teachers classroom transactions. Create and maintain quality parameters Ensure training for resources to meet the parameters Analyse and report the gaps in the system with respect to quality parameters Observing teaching sessions to monitor the implementation of Shri methodology in the SEL schools. Empowering teachers/ AcCors to be able to impart Shri values and teaching methodology to students and new members of the school. Monitoring the development of specific fine and gross motor skills in the early primary years Creating and reviewing the year plan based on the vertical progression for all Elementary and Junior Grades Other Assignments Participate in training programs organized by the office. Upgrade existing skills to support the demands of the role. Keep oneself informed on the latest pedagogy, best practices and new-trends in the education domain. Identify and participate in professional development opportunities Challenges/Complexity of Job Align the school team with SELs ethos and philosophy. Liaise between Principal, Promoter (wherever applicable) and SEL as cultural and regional diversities provide different mindsets and thought processes. As individual complex organizations, the nature of support provided to each school is tailored, requiring a dynamic approach as per their constant changing needs. To support the school in its own development so that it builds internal capacity and progress, making it sustainable over time. To keep oneself abreast of contemporary best practices and techniques to enrich SELs existing curriculum and pedagogy. Manage travel plan logistics to accommodate school calendars. Decision Making Boundaries Recommending the best to the school which is in line with the Shri philosophy. Share inputs in terms of training and development of school staff. Suggest best practices followed in TSEY/TSRS and other SEL schools. Decision making in areas related to creation of domain related documentation and intellectual property Decisions pertaining to finances of a school are not taken by the consultant. Skills And Competencies Pedagogy Strong understanding of best practices in either primary or senior (or both) K-12 education Clear understanding of pedagogic language and structure Able to define pedagogy and create pedagogy based on research Knowledge Management Research, collation and customization of data for a variety of K-12 education based deliverables Documentation of processes, and acquiring data to systematically support documentation Communication Skills Effective and excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) that are modified to suit different audience groups Presentation capabilities, both ICT and non ICT based Effective listening, to be able to gather feedback and collate Experience and expertise in training Innovation and Analysis Developing solutions based on available data to suit various requirements Enabling others to develop solutions based on their understanding of their needs Evaluation of data based on customized criteria Project Management Breaking down deliverables into multiple activities Creating activity schedules and maintaining them Reporting and monitoring (whichever is required) Identifying hotspots and taking preventive action Initiative Managing deliverables without any supervision and follow up Taking responsibility of the situation and driving tasks, projects Constantly following up with other team members to get the job done Job Function: School Operations Age: 30 - 45 Years Experience: 7 - 10 years of teaching experience. The job requires travelling in India. Qualification: B.A./B.Com/B.Sc, B.Ed./D.El.Ed/NTT/MTT Preference: For candidates who are staying in and around Gurugram. The office is located in Sector 50, Nirvana Country, Gurugram
