Job Description

Lead and drive Fire safety management including fire prevention programs, develop & maintain fire protection system and effectively maintain emergency resources & respond emergencies to protect human life, environment and assets. Develop, implement and effectively monitor fire prevention programs. Effectively maintain emergency response function and ensure mobilization of required resources to mitigate the emergency in stipulated time round the clock. Implement & Monitor the management systems for inspection, testing and maintenance of fire protection systems, to ensure its availability and reliability. Manage all activities related to timely procurement of materials and services for the fire services department. Develop and evaluate adequate fire protection infrastructure at the site to support business requirements in line with RIL standards. Develop and Review Fire Services procedures (SOPs) and emergency response plans (ERCP, PIPA, Mutual aid scheme etc.) periodically. support effective implementation and monitor their compliance. Plan & Conduct mock drills on various emergency scenarios identified in PIPA documents and ensure corrective actions against deviations noticed during such drills. Plan & Conduct Fire Safety Management training, inspection and audits as per RIL standards. Provide leadership and support for the effective and safe working of the fire team including Shift Fire Officers and fire crew
