Job Summary: As a Production Manager at FMCG COMPANY, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the production processes at one of our manufacturing facilities. Your primary goal will be to ensure the efficient and timely production of Dabur's products while maintaining high-quality standards, adhering to safety protocols, and optimizing production costs.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Production Planning and Scheduling:

   • Develop and implement production plans to meet production targets.
   • Create production schedules, allocate resources, and monitor progress.

2. Quality Assurance:

   • Ensure that all products meet Dabur's quality standards and regulatory requirements.
   • Implement and maintain quality control measures throughout the production process.
   • Investigate and resolve quality issues promptly.

3. Process Optimization:

   • Continuously analyze production processes to identify areas for improvement.
   • Implement efficiency-enhancing measures to reduce waste and increase productivity.
   • Optimize the use of machinery and equipment to maximize output.

4. Inventory Management:

   • Monitor and manage raw materials and finished goods inventory.
   • Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely material availability.
   • Implement inventory control strategies to minimize wastage and storage costs.

5. Safety and Compliance:

   • Enforce safety protocols and standards to ensure a safe working environment.
   • Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
   • Conduct regular safety audits and training for production staff.

6. Budget Management:

   • Prepare and manage the production budget.
   • Monitor production costs and identify opportunities for cost savings.
   • Control expenses and ensure cost-effectiveness in production processes.

7. Team Management:

   • Recruit, train, and manage production staff.
   • Provide leadership and direction to the production team.
   • Foster a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

8. Reporting and Documentation:

   • Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
   • Prepare regular reports on production performance, including key metrics and KPIs.
   • Present production updates to senior management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably in industrial engineering, chemical engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in production management within the manufacturing industry.
• Strong technical knowledge of production processes and equipment.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong problem-solving
