We are hiring a Cybersecurity Officer with expertise in User Access Management (UAM) and network security for one of our esteemed banking clients in Mauritius. This role is crucial in ensuring the security of user access controls across the bank's digital infrastructure, as well as overseeing network configurations and compliance controls.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and monitor User Access Management processes across applications, systems, and infrastructure
- Conduct periodic access reviews, entitlement certifications, and control validations
- Ensure secure onboarding/offboarding processes and least-privilege access models
- Review and analyze network configurations, including firewalls, IPS, and core switches
- Support network security audits and compliance reviews
- Monitor access-related anomalies and coordinate with SOC or incident response teams if needed
- Collaborate with IT and Compliance teams to maintain strong internal controls and access governance frameworks
- Ensure alignment with the bank's regulatory and security policies
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
- 3 to 5 years of experience working in a network security or access control environment
- Working knowledge of:
-- Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS)
-- Firewalls (e.g., Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA)
-- Core Switch configuration and network segmentation
-- Experience in reviewing network setups and enforcing access policies
- Must hold any two certifications from the following list:
-- CompTIA+
-- CCSP (Certified Cloud Security Professional)
-- CySA+ (Cybersecurity Analyst)
-- CRISC (Risk and Information Systems Control)
-- CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker)
Soft Skills:
- Detail-oriented with a strong sense of accountability
- Good communication and documentation skills
- Able to handle sensitive user data with discretion
- Proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving
