Job Description

Clinical Coordinator JD 1

  1. Detail History of new patient in software.
  2. Explanation of the procedure clinically (IUI / IVF/ERA/Mock ET /SOS/PGS/PGD/Any biopsy) advised to the patient.
  3. Financial Counselling in case IUI advised.
  4. Requisition slip for investigation advised.
  5. To fill in follicular monitoring sheet for OPU & IUI cycle & creation of cycle in software.
  6. Coordinating with IVF Lab & explaining the procedure to the pt.s about SQA, SF, DFI, embryo culture, IVF, IUI and other cases pre & post. procedure.
  7. Consents for SIS, Embryo shifting, PGS, PGD, ERA, semen/Embryo discarding & Embryo freezing renewal procedure.
  8. Explaining medication to the patient post consultation.
  9. Assisting consultant for all medical (IUI/OPU/FET/ET/SIS, Mock ET, etc.) procedures.
  10. Physical examination of patients & filling in IPD & OPD files for FET/ET/OPU/ IUI & also in software.
  11. Follow up notes of pt.s in software on daily basis.
  12. Completing tasks in software for different clinical follow-up calls, uptill the delivery of BHCG positive pt.s.
  13. In case of Fresh Embryo Transfer coordinating with IVF Lab, consultant and pt.s
  14. To keep the follow-up of pt.s about the medication advised by the consultant, are being taken by the patients on time.
  15. Post beta HCG positive, patients to be given referral slip to get their ANC scan done.
  16. Attending different Phone calls
  • Any immediate query of the patient when on the floor (face to face)
  • To call & inform E2, P4, SQA, DFI or any other investigation reports, if deranged.
  • Calling referral doctors regarding planned ET/FET/ OPU/ IUI procedures.
  • Calling recipient couple in case of donor OPU cycle to confirm about the donor cycle start.
  • Concern call to BHCG +ve patient & keeping track of Live Birth
  • Any important investigation or medication advised by the consultants to be informed to the patients on call or whatsapp any.
  • Calling patient for Embryo/ Semen freezing status.
  • To inform pt.s about the OPU trigger time.
  1. Consent in case of multiple follicle rupture in IUI.
  2. Issuance of Medical Certificate with consultant signature.
  3. Preparing Discharge summary & prescriptions.
  4. To prepare presentation for MIS & MCR slides on monthly basis.
  5. To prepare and send Result outcome data on weekly basis.
