Job Description
- Daily organization and storage of raw footage received from all active cities (Mumbai, Pune, Goa, Bangalore, Delhi, etc.)
- Ensuring proper archiving of old projects (on cloud or local servers) to free up space on active work systems.
- Regular monitoring of storage space and providing timely recommendations for future scalability and storage upgrades.
- Preventing data duplication or loss by rigorously cross-checking footage and storage logs.
- Assisting editors with locating archived footage, project files, and other essential media assets.
- Ensuring content teams and editors get timely access to required footage for scripting, planning, or editing.
- Enforcing and maintaining consistent file naming conventions and folder structures for clarity and ease of access.
- Managing large file transfers across cities through optimized uploads using tools like Airbridge, Frame.io, etc.
- Creating lightweight proxy files for heavy data, enabling remote teams to work with easier-to-download versions.
- Sharing relevant footage and content archives with the Sales team for client requests or commercial use.
- Managing and organizing a paid-content archive to streamline footage monetization when applicable.
- Maintaining a comprehensive tracking sheet of all footage received, edited, and backed up.
- Organizing final outputs systematically on Google Drive and updating the overview sheet regularly.
- Ensuring editors and content leads update footage logs to avoid untracked files or missing data.
- Tracking incomplete or missing footage and coordinating retrieval from respective city teams.
- Experience in organizing, archiving, and managing large volumes of media files.
- Strong understanding of cloud/local storage tools (Google Drive, Airbridge) and media transfer platforms ( Frame.io )
- Ability to create proxy files for heavy footage to optimize workflows.
- Experience in managing large-scale media files and handling heavy data transfers (200GB+ daily).
- Skilled in organizing files with standardized naming and folder structures for easy access and collaboration.
- Proficient in maintaining tracking sheets and databases using Google Sheets or Excel.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate smoothly with editors, content teams, and city teams.
