TECHCONS is urgently looking for a suitable candidate for the position of HOD-Civil/Structural Design. The HOD Civil/Structural Design will have the following responsibilities: 1. Heading the Civil Design department, the ideal candidate will oversee a team of Design engineers and drafters to manage their delivery to the end client. 2. Review and check Civil and structural design done by the Design Engineers 3. Review the engineering drawings being delivered to the end client and ensure their correctness. 4. Interact with clients, contractors, vendors, and internal departments to manage project-related issues 5. Ensure all civil and structural design works are carried out according to job specifications and the relevant codes. 6. Prepare the schedule and manhour estimation to meet the project's requirements. 7. Coordinate with other disciplines to provide input on civil design work and ensure the design is incorporated smoothly 8. Prepare technical specifications for civil. design works and Technical Bid Evaluation 9. Provide contractors with advice and assistance to construction activities as and when required. Requirements a. Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering b. Minimum of 1520 years experience in the design engineering role, with at least the last 10 years a Design Manager/HOD position c. Familiarity with STAADPRO and AutoCAD d. Proficient with IS, American, British, and Euro codes Interested candidates may send their CVs to hidden_email
