We are seeking a highly experienced Workday Project Manager with a strong functional background in HCM to lead end-to-end Workday implementations and enhancements. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of Workday HCM modules, proven project management capabilities, and the ability to effectively engage stakeholders at all levels.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of Workday HCM projects (new implementations, enhancements, and rollouts).
Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams, and Workday implementation partners.
Drive requirement gathering, business process design, and solution workshops.
Provide functional leadership across HCM modules (Core HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Absence, Recruiting, Talent & Performance, etc).
Manage project scope, timelines, deliverables, and risks to ensure successful delivery.
Facilitate testing activities including unit, system integration, UAT, and issue resolution.
Lead cutover planning, go-live readiness, and post-implementation support.
Develop and maintain project documentation including project plans, status reports, RAID logs, and change requests.
Ensure compliance with governance, data security, and internal controls.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
8+ years of HCM experience, with 3 5 years as a Workday Project Manager.
Strong functional knowledge of Workday HCM modules particularly Core HCM, Compensation, Absence, and Recruiting.
Proven experience managing end-to-end Workday implementations or large enhancement projects.
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, including HR, IT, Finance, and external vendors.
Skilled in project planning tools (MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, etc).
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Workday certification in HCM and/or related modules is highly desirable.
PMP or Prince2 certification is a plus.
Preferred Experience:
Exposure to global HR operations and compliance.
Experience with Workday change management and training strategies.
Familiarity with reporting, calculated fields, and security concepts.
Understanding of Workday integrations (EIBs, Studio) is a plus, though not mandatory.
