Job Description

Job Purpose: Develop and implement strategy to take Investment Banking business in India towards its next phase of growth Enhance the Investment Banking offering in India through new products for our growing client base across segments such as corporates, financial sponsors, Financial Institutions and real estate. Play an active and integral role in working with corporate banking team in India to originate and pitch IB deals Actively cover Financial Sponsors offices in India to originate LevFin opportunities Deepen MB relationships and client resonance through senior level client engagement, greater share of mind and high quality dialogue Key Result Areas: Analyze capital structure of corporate clients with Investment Banking potential to originate transaction across IB products viz. structured finance, syndicated loans, debt capital markets, ESG & advisory Pitch financing solutions to corporate clients and financial sponsors within risk framework of Mashreqbank Work. closely with products teams within IB including loan syndication, DCM, Advisory, ESG and leveraged finance to provide right solution to the clients in India Continuously engage with counter-parties to provide market knowledge to internal stake holders including providing pricing trends and update on market appetite for new transactions under discussion Drive revenue across multiple products i.e. Shorouq, FCTL, Sponsor finance, FPI, Real Estate, DCM, ESG and Advisory Knowledge, Skills and Experience: Self-starter attitude with the ability to own the role and develop high quality investment banking coverage A strong multi product investment banking skills to analyze the entire capital structure of a client so as to propose a financing solutions Experience in preparation of pitch books, credit assessment notes, presentations and other deal related documents Exposure to various IB product offerings to clients in India Highly developed communication and presentation skills A proactive and energetic personality with the ability and desire to multi task The candidate to have a minimum of 15-18 years experience spent with one or better known regional or global institution involved in similar nature of business
