Job Description
- Perform performance testing to identify system bottlenecks, assess responsiveness, and ensure application stability under different loads.
- Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test cases, scripts, and test plans based on project requirements.
- Identify and report defects, issues, and risks clearly and concisely.
- Collaborate with the development team to reproduce, troubleshoot, and verify fixes for identified issues.
- Document test results, track defects, and maintain accurate testing records.
- Continuously improve testing processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in web and performance testing.
Key Skills:
- Performance Testing : Expertise in conducting performance, load, and stress testing for applications.
- Defect Tracking & Reporting : Ability to identify, document, and report defects/issues clearly and effectively.
- Test Case/Script Development : Proficiency in developing detailed test cases, scripts, and plans based on project needs.
- Collaboration & Communication : Strong teamwork skills to work closely with development and QA teams.
- Analytical Skills : Ability to analyze performance results, troubleshoot, and provide insights for improvement.
- Documentation : Accurate documentation of test results and defect tracking.
Tools & Technologies:
- Performance Testing Tools : JMeter, Postman, or other open-source performance testing tools.
- Test Management : Experience with test case development and defect tracking tools.
- Defect Tracking : Jira, Bugzilla, or similar tools.
- Version Control Systems : Git, Bitbucket, or similar tools.
- Web Technologies : Understanding of web applications, HTTP protocols, APIs, and system architecture.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in performance testing using tools such as JMeter, Postman, or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of performance testing methodologies and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to document findings clearly.
- Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends in web and performance testing.
