We are looking for an Education Planning and Management Specialist for a World Bank-funded project titled - "Providing Technical Support to Samagra Shiksha Chhattisgarh for The Project Management and Monitoring under the Chhattisgarh: Accelerated Learning for a Knowledge-Economy Operation (CHALK) of the Government of Chhattisgarh (GOCG)". The overall objective of the program CHALK aims to support the state in enhancing its human capital by improving the quality of school education. The CHALK operation will support the GOCG in four key results areas: Improved quality of teacher-student interaction for school education. Improved, centrally developed, and digitally enabled student diagnostic and assessment systems. Decentralized school development and management for efficient and effective operation. School leadership development. The following qualifications and experience are required for the position: . Post-graduate or equivalent in management or related discipline. Minimum 5 years experience working on planning and management of large-scale transformation programs in the public sector. Experience working on at least one public sector project/initiative related to planning (strategy/vision development), operations management, and monitoring, in the area of school education. The inputs required for this position will be for a period of 36 person-months (2hidden_mobile) in Raipur, Chhattisgarh
