Role Description As Manager / Sr. Manager, Underwriting & Placements, General Insurance, you will be responsible for managing the underwriting process at Ideal Insurance Brokers. Your primary responsibility will be overseeing the insurance placement activity and ensuring our clients" risk is accurately assessed and managed. This is a full-time role and requires an on-site presence in Metropolitan Kolkata. Qualifications A degree in insurance or a related field At least 5 years of experience in the insurance industry in underwriting and. placements. Excellent knowledge of commercial, general liability, and property insurance products, Strong analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions. The ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Proven experience in team management and leadership. Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software. The ability to ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies
