Job Description
This role is for BI operations and Development.
Domains including: PL/SQL,Data Warehousing, Tableau reporting.
Should have Strong knowledge on Tableau desktop and Tableau Sever.
Extensive experience in developing, maintaining and managing Workbooks (Sheets,
Dashboards and Stories) by using different visualizations.
Establishing Connections to Data Sources Performing Data Modelling OR Custom
SQL option in Tableau Desktop
Preparing TDE/TDS and scheduling on Tableau server
Creating Actions from Dashboard/Report to Target Dashboard/Report/URL.
Creating Dimensions, Measures and Calculations using LOD, WINDOWS and DATE
functions.
Data Blending across different sources.
Building custom visualization which are not available in Vanilla Tableau Desktop.
Experience in Set UP Data Level Security across different sources.
Publishing Workbooks, Data Sources, Set UP Permissions and Monitoring the status of
extract schedules on Tableau Server.
Experience in Tableau Prep Builder to extract, transform and load the data from different
sources.
Good Knowledge on Tableau Extensions.
Good knowledge of handling databases and proficiency in SQL
Should understand the overall system landscape, upstream and downstream systems
Excellent knowledge of debugging, tuning and optimizing performance of database
queries
Supports the module in production, resolves hot issues and implement and deploy
enhancements to the application/package
Should be proficient in the end-to-end software development life cycle including:
Requirement Analysis, Effort Estimation,
Should have good knowledge on Design, Development, Code Review, Testing
Responsible for analysis, design and project execution; ensuring defect-free and on-time
delivery
Responsible for Issue resolution along with corrective and preventive measures
thereafter.
