Description: As a Purchase Executive/Specialist, you will be an integral part of our procurement team, responsible for managing the acquisition of goods and services. This role demands a candidate with a strong grasp of ERP systems, coupled with specialized knowledge in the injection moulding machine field. The ideal candidate is not only well-versed in optimizing purchasing power but also possesses a deep understanding of the local market network. This position requires a candidate with exceptional grip speed, ensuring swift decision-making and execution to meet our dynamic procurement needs. Job Responsibilities: ERP Utilization: Proficiently use ERP systems to streamline and enhance the efficiency of the procurement process. Leverage the system for order. tracking, inventory management, and data-driven decision-making. Injection Moulding Machine Expertise: Apply specialized knowledge of injection moulding machines to assess technical specifications, quality standards, and supplier capabilities. Make informed procurement decisions to meet operational requirements. Local Market Network: Leverage a strong local market network to identify potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and build lasting relationships. Stay attuned to market trends and dynamics to make strategic procurement decisions. Grip Speed: Demonstrate agility in decision-making and execution. Act promptly to address procurement needs, navigate challenges, and ensure timely delivery of goods and services. Purchasing Power Optimization: Develop and implement strategies to optimize purchasing power, negotiate favourable terms, and explore cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality standards. Vendor Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with vendors. Monitor vendor performance, address issues promptly, and work collaboratively to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes. Cost Efficiency: Implement cost control measures, monitor budget adherence, and identify opportunities for cost optimization without compromising quality. Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of procurement transactions, contracts, and agreements. Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures. Qualifications: Proven experience in procurement, with a focus on ERP systems and knowledge of injection moulding machines. Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines. Well-established local market network and knowledge of market dynamics. This role demands a candidate who can balance technical expertise, market acumen, and rapid decision-making, ensuring the efficient and effective procurement of goods and services within the specialized field of injection moulding machines
