What You Will Do As a Engineering Manager, You will report to Director-Engineering and handle a team of developers, Work with the technical and product teams to design, develop and test software that meets product needs Providing technical input into designs and creation of technical design documents. Work with the Quality Assurance team to assist in the creation of test plans and automation. Implement developmental best practices and participate in code reviews Design and implement low latency, high availability. applications Diagnose and resolve reported problems and issues Successfully delivers the results on initiatives in timely and effective manner. Provide technical direction to and mentor junior developers. Required Skills Minimum of 12-16 years of hands-on development utilizing (technology will depend on product / group) with a minimum of 4 years designing and architecting solutions. Expertise experience Java Architecture and guide the team technically. Managing a team of 10-15 members. Should have hand on experience in coding activities and extend the support team whenever its required. Expertise in providing technical directions and thought leadership to the team. Design framework and give the technical solutions. Java technologies: Core Java ,Spring ,Hibernate & postgresql. Front End : JavaScript, Jquery, Anjular Knowledge of Java Concurrency and Mutlithreading Experience in API related activities and different ways authentication can be handled in a RESTful API design . Understanding how session management should work when there are multiple servers Caching be implemented in situations where there are large number of servers. Should have expertise experience in CDN (Content delivery network) / CORS (Cross-Origin Resource Sharing ). Strong problem solving and analytical skills ability to assimilate data from varied sources, apply deductive reasoning and scientific method, make inferences, draw testable conclusions, and resolve problems. Desirable experience in Agile, Service Oriented Architecture and Big Data. Ability to identify and understand relationships / interactions between systems, at multiple levels, from tactical to big picture. Experience in designing scalable web applications. Experience in trouble shooting and identifying performance bottlenecks and provide solution(s). Influencing and executing skills, including strong verbal and written communication skills
