Senior Datacenter Engineer @ Intuit

Seeking an experienced, well-rounded individual in Cisco Technologies, Wireless, Cyber Security and more. Candidate must possess strong to advanced knowledge of Routing / Switching,

Carrier services and Data Center services. Candidate will primarily act in as a Tier 3 engineering support role for the enterprise data network platforms performing various activities.

Such activities include troubleshooting performance issues and performing break-fix network changes.

• Expert in Installation, Configuration & Support of LAN/ WAN routing and switching issues

• Expert in Installation, Configuration & Support of Cisco Data Center Technologies ( such as Nexus Series of Switches)

• Detailed knowledge of networking protocols- BGP, OSPF, TCP/ IP and security protocols- SSL, IPsec, VPN technologies

• Good knowledge in firewalls and security device management. Working knowledge on bandwidth optimization products like Cisco WAAS, Riverbed

• VPN configurations, Wireless device configuration and management

• Should have experience in supporting production environment

• Should be familiar with Incident, problem and change management process

• Bachelor s Degree in Information Systems/Accounting Systems/Computer Science or equivalent is required

• 5-7 years of experience in Cisco network Routing and Switching

• Supports LAN/WAN and Carrier services with potential to branch into Firewall, Load Balancing, Wireless Mobility, DNS and DHCP platforms to ensure peak operating performance is maintained

• Proactively evaluate network environments using various tools and management

• Provide input to network enterprise design standards and maintain network topology diagrams

• Ensure compliance with departmental and enterprise security configuration standards

• CCIE ( Routing & Switching) OR Data Center Certified

• Consult with various technology support groups as part of problem resolution efforts

• Good in Routing, Switching and Security

• Hands on Experience in Routers, Switches, Firewalls (Multi-Vendor)

• Experience on Application Load Balancers

• Network Management Tools

• Good Knowledge in Datacenter process

• Good in Team Handling and Multi-Tasking

• Experienced in Handling Huge Networks

• Strong verbal and written communications skills are a must

• Ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations

• Strong technology background is required

• Aptitude to acquire new technology and concepts quickly
