Associate Project Engineer / Project Engineer - Design (Mechanical Equipment Design using AutoCAD Skills)
We are hiring Associate Project Engineer / Project Engineers - Design with 5 to 8 years of dedicated experience.
This role specifically focuses on Mechanical Equipment Design using AutoCAD.
The successful candidates must possess good hands-on experience as an AutoCAD Draughtsman, demonstrating a high level of proficiency in creating detailed 2D drawings and layouts.
Your primary responsibility will involve designing various static equipment, such as pressure vessels, heat exchangers, storage tanks, and structural supports, ensuring adherence to relevant industry codes and standards.
This includes developing precise engineering drawings, P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams), assembly drawings, and fabrication details.
You will work closely with design engineers, project managers, and manufacturing teams to translate design concepts into accurate and manufacturable drawings.
The ability to interpret technical specifications, perform basic engineering calculations, and ensure design consistency will be crucial.
This position requires a meticulous approach to drafting, a strong understanding of mechanical components, and excellent spatial reasoning.
Your contributions will be vital in the detailed design phase, ensuring that all equipment designs are technically sound and ready for production.
