Oracle Billing & Revenue Management (brm) Production Support Engineer @ UST

Job Description

We are currently looking for an exceptional candidate to support production operations for the Oracle Billing & Revenue Management (BRM) platform. This role involves day-to-day production support and participation in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including Detailed Design, Development, Unit/Dev Integration testing, and QA support. The candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving issues within the BRM system and associated upstream/downstream applications.

The candidate should be hands-on in production support and capable of working with minimal supervision.

• 5-7 years of experience in Production Support/Software Development using C/C++ and/or Java.
• 6+ years of experience with Oracle BRM (Portal Infranet/Integrate Billing Solution) 7.x.
• Strong knowledge of BRM PCM C/Java development and customizations.
• Experience configuring and integrating Oracle Mediation Controller with third-party applications (e.g., Vertex (O Series), payment systems like Chase Paymentech, Invoice extraction systems, and Oracle EBS R12).
• Proficiency in Unix/Linux operating systems and Bash/Korn Shell Scripting.
• Strong experience in Oracle RDBMS and Oracle Weblogic.
• Knowledge and experience working with data warehouse feeds.
• Solid communication, organizational, and project management skills.
• Proven debugging and problem-solving abilities.

• Experience in automating jobs.
• Familiarity with data migration, import, and legacy conversion.
• Understanding of system integration and performance tuning.

• 5-7 years of relevant Production Support and Software Development experience, specifically working with Oracle BRM.

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline with a significant software development component.
