Job Description
Job Title: Senior .NET Developer
Location: Trivandrum,Kochi & Chennai Experience Required: 5+ years in .NET/Microsoft technologies development Job Overview:UST(r) is seeking a seasoned Senior .NET Developer to design and implement end-to-end business solutions for a leading financial services organization in the US. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in both frontend and backend development technologies and possess excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with domain and technical experts.
Key Responsibilities:Maintain active relationships with Product Owners to understand business requirements, lead requirement gathering meetings, and review designs.
Own backlog items and coordinate with team members to develop features planned for each sprint.
Perform technical design reviews and code reviews.
Mentor, lead, and guide the team on technical skills.
Prototype, develop, and troubleshoot software in the user interface or service layers.
Conduct peer reviews on source code to ensure reuse, scalability, and adherence to best practices.
Participate in collaborative technical discussions focusing on software user experience, design, architecture, and development.
Demonstrate project features and sub-features to client stakeholders, utilizing the latest frontend and backend development technologies.
Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, and ASP.NET MVC.
Experience with Web API development.
Strong knowledge of SQL Server, including database design, T-SQL, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
Experience with Angular (2+) for frontend development.
Familiarity with Entity Framework for data access.
Experience in developing applications using multi-tier architecture.
Proficiency in unit testing applications using frameworks like NUnit or similar.
Understanding of Agile and Scaled Agile development models.
Familiarity with interfaces such as REST web services, Swagger profiles, and JSON payloads.
Proficiency with version control systems like GitHub or Bitbucket.
Experience with JIRA for issue tracking and Confluence for documentation.
Familiarity with Jenkins for Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
Capability to support QA teams with test plans, root cause analysis, and defect fixing.
Experience with AngularJS for maintaining legacy applications.
Knowledge of Windows Services development.
Familiarity with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases.
Experience with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for UI development.
Exposure to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Azure cloud services.
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker.
