Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Implementing and managing Active Directory on Windows 2016, 2019 & 2022.
Active Directory topology, different components involved in replication and troubleshooting issues related to the same.
Domain migration and consolidation for large enterprise
Domain controller placement for disaster recovery scenarios, metadata cleanup.
AD Integrated DNS, DNS migration & consolidation, various types of DNS zones and when to use them.
SRV records, Conditional forwarders, root hints and DNS scavenging procedures
Designing, implementing and managing GPOs/GPPs.
Different types of trusts and troubleshooting issues related to trusts.
Authentication protocols, users and workstation authentication procedures
Remediating issues identified by Risk Assessment Programs
Good knowledge and hands on experience in managing ADFS, Azure AD Connect, Active Directory Certificate Services
To be able to manage Azure AD environment - MFA , SSO , PIM ,Federations , SSPR and Troubleshoot issues related to MFA and Application SSO
Server security hardening which includes patching, antivirus, TLS encryptions and implementing security policies.
Powershell scripting to perform/automate various tasks.
Conceptual and design knowledge on AD migration and Upgrade from different windows server operating system flavors (Windows 16/19/22)
