Job Description
- Plan, organize, and manage the daily operations of the production facility to ensure timely and cost-effective manufacturing.
- Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands and business objectives.
- Monitor and maintain production efficiency, ensuring all processes are optimized for maximum output.
- Supervise and lead a team of production staff, providing guidance, training, and support.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations within the factory.
- Implement quality control measures to maintain product consistency and adherence to standards.
- Identify and resolve production issues, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods to prevent shortages or excess stock.
- Collaborate with other departments, including procurement, logistics, and quality assurance, to streamline operations.
- Evaluate and implement new technologies and process improvements to enhance factory efficiency.
- Prepare reports and maintain accurate records of production metrics and performance.
- Manage factory budgets and control production costs without compromising quality.
- Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in production management within a manufacturing environment. Plating and casting
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, lean production techniques, and quality assurance methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency in using production management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.
- Experience in Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or other process improvement methodologies.
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems for production planning.
- Previous experience in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Full-time position based in a manufacturing facility.
- Requires standing, walking, and moving within the factory for extended periods.
- May involve occasional travel for training, supplier visits, or corporate meetings.
