We are hiring for an "Associate Manager - Channel Sales of IT Products, Guwahati"

  • Position: Associate Manager Channel Sales IT Products |Vacancy: 2 Nos Full-Time Permanent
  • Department: Business Operations [Channel Sales] Reports to Head, ICT Business Operations            
  • Qualification: Any Bachelors degree or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

Position Overview: We're looking for an experienced Manager for Channel Sales of IT Products. The ideal candidate should have 2-5 years of experience in channel sales and territory management, showing a proven track record in creating business and marketing plans with channel partners or Vendors. You should excel in a fast-paced environment with revenue generation responsibilities in the assigned regions. and have prior experience in selling IT products such as Computing (Computers, Desktops, laptops, Servers, Networking hardware and Cybersecurity Solutions, Storage, Software, Printers, Peripherals, and Components. The ideal candidate should demonstrate a competitive, self-starting, and hunter-type mentality, along with strong presentation skills for both executives and individual contributors, as well as exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Act as a key channel strategist within the region, collaborating closely with partners and selected end users. Establish and nurture relationships with all assigned vendors.
  • Drive towards achieving sales goals in a target-oriented manner. Analyse competition, schemes, and market feedback for strategic planning insights.
  • Maintain regular contact, conduct sales meetings, and deliver product presentations as needed.
  • Provide geographic channel coverage for the region and work with partners to develop a customer funnel.
  • Identify and foster new partners to expand market reach and lead area development initiatives.
  • Manage a funnel tracker to monitor and optimize sales efforts efficiently.
  • Conduct Weekly, monthly meetings and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR) to meet Annual revenue targets.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Any Bachelors degree or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Relevant 2- 5+ years experience in channel sales and territory management of IT Products or technology distribution
  • Previous experience in selling IT products like Computing, Networking hardware and Servers, Cybersecurity Solutions, Storage, Software, Printers, Peripherals, and Components.
  • Understanding of channel sales processes, with a proven track record of building business and marketing plans with partners.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. & stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent presentation skills to executives and individual contributors
