Head- Engineering ( UNIFLEX Group) Designation: Manager / Deputy Manager- Engineering Universal Flexibles Pvt.Ltd ( a UNIFLEX group company.) is looking for a Head for its Engineering function . Responsible for Engineering function of all UNIFLEX Group companies. UNIFLEX manufacturers high quality Hose Assemblies, Hose Fittings, Adapters, Tube Assemblies, Automotive components, Fabricated assemblies and Components for Defence. UNIFLEX Head quartered in Bangalore has plants in Dobespet ( Bangalore), Hosur, Pantnagar and Hoshiarpur. Manufacturing facility of UNIFLEX includes CNC turning centers, Automatic Zinc Plating plant, Continuous annealing and brazing furnace, Pipe bending and forming machines, Hose assembly machines, TIG welding machines, Laser cutting machine, and a well equipped inspection, measuring and testing instruments laboratory. Bangalore ,Hosur and Pant Nagar Units are IATF 16949 certified. More details about UNIFLEX available at our web site. www.myuniflex.com Duties and Responsibilities: 1.Responsible for Engineering function at UNIFLEX 2.Lead the team in Engineering including processes , components and systems. 3.Using CAD software ( AutoCAD, Creo ) generate drawings based on customer drawings / samples / design specs following general design principles 4.Responsible for ECR and ECN management 5.Responsible for Feasibility study for customer requirements. 6.Select optimal material to meet customer functional requirements and discuss with customers in proposing alternate materials. 7.Prepare product catalogues 8.Prepare BOM for customer orders. 9.Equip the Engineering department with required hardware and software. 10.Develop a effective document control system 11.Build a strong team and train people in Engineering . Desired Candidates Profile: 1.Should be Engineering ( Mechanical ) degree holder with 7/8 years experience. Diploma ( DME ) holders with exceptional experience will also be considered. 2.Automotive field experience preferred. 3.Should be able to independently handle the Engineering function with a team of Engineers. 4.Understanding of Global engineering standards (ISO, DIN etc) 5.Knowledge of Tools and Fixtures Design 6.Ability to read, understand & interpret complex engineering drawings. 7.Should be able to do Feasibility study.
