Job Description HR Executive for EuroSchool, Bannerghatta Position: HR Executive Location: EuroSchool Bannerghatta Reporting to: Cluster HR Manager and Principal Job Summary: The HR Executive for a school plays a pivotal role in managing human resources and fostering a positive work environment for the school staff. This role involves various HR tasks, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and administrative responsibilities, all with a focus on maintaining a supportive and efficient school environment. Key Responsibilities: Recruitment: Collaborate with the Cluster HR Manager and Principal to identify staffing needs and develop job descriptions. Advertise job openings on various platforms, including the school website, job portals, and social media. Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and coordinate the selection process. Ensure timely and efficient recruitment of qualified staff members. Onboarding and Orientation: Prepare and facilitate. orientation programs for new hires, providing them with a clear understanding of school policies, culture, and expectations. Collect and manage all necessary documentation, including contracts, licenses, and certifications. Assist new employees in completing necessary paperwork and processes. Employee Relations: Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding HR-related inquiries and concerns. Address and resolve employee issues, maintaining confidentiality and sensitivity. Promote a positive work environment and work to prevent conflicts. Compliance and Policies: Maintain and update employee records, including attendance, leaves, and personal information. Stay informed about employment laws, regulations, and industry trends. Develop and enforce school policies and procedures. Administrative Tasks: Manage HR documentation, including contracts, benefits, and attendance records. Assist in payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Oversee leave requests and maintain leave records. Qualifications and Requirements: Master's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field Previous HR experience in an educational setting is preferred. Proficient in HR software and Microsoft Office applications. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Understanding of labor laws and regulations. Excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills. High level of confidentiality and integrity. Ability to work in a team and independently. Knowledge of HR best practices in the education sector. Experience: 0-2 years This job description is a general guideline and should not be considered exhaustive.
