Periodically assessing the coders' proficiency and routinely carrying out RCA
Identify training gaps and conduct training.
Responsible for conducting the knowledge checks and providing feedback or a
development plan for the coder who have not cleared the IRR, test, or quiz.
Clarifying and ensuring that all project inquiries are answered in accordance with
the time frame.
Review the error log captured by the auditors.
Make sure that the quality and security standards (HIPPA, ISO, and ISMS) are
followed both internally and externally, and educate staff members about them.
Responsible for conducting training and refresher sessions to continuously increase
the efficiency of the coders.
Helping the team work to achieve and maintain their quality goals.
Framing and updating the process guidelines on a need basis.
Flexible to swap between projects based on the business requirements.

Recognizing achievements
Required Skills:
Medical Coding experience minimum of 5 years is preferred.
Worked at least 1 year as an SME / QA
Understanding of US Healthcare industry, including but not limited to HIPAA/HITECH
Experience in Risk Adjustment Coding is mandatory.
AAPC /AHIMA certification is mandatory.
Strong knowledge in Anatomy & Physiology
