IBM Industry Cloud Product Manager

Job Description

As part of the industry cloud product team, you will work collaboratively with the wider product management team, marketing, engineering, analyst relations and ecosystem to expand our industry cloud offerings. Specifically, this will mean supporting the development and launch of new industry cloud solutions including where appropriate working with clients, resolving issues, automating pricing and billing and generally readying solutions for scaling and nurturing including joint Go-To-Market and business development. We are seeking an experiencedproduct manager with a background in cloud technology and solution design. You will:Work with the industry solution product managers to drive the productizing of these solutions including business case development, billing and pricing mechanisms and automation, revenue reporting and tracking, understanding of product PnL. In addition, to identify market and client opportunities to grow these solutions working with our Consulting and SI partners.Collaboratively partner with product management, comms, marketing, analyst relations, engineering, finance, billing, ecosystem and other teams to deliver overall growth within IBM Industry clouds through growing the aaS solution areas by developing deep and trusted relationships.Set quantitative business/technical metrics and success criteria forproduct requirements and track execution against, set roadmap progress towards achieving these.Drive resultsattack everything with drive and energy with an eye on both the bottom line and customer success.Prioritize and negotiate requirements across stakeholder groups, making trade-offs between competing priorities and schedule. Required education
Bachelor's Degree Preferred education
Master's Degree Required technical and professional expertise

5+ years experience in Product Management or equivalent practical experience building or deploying products in a Cloud based software organization

10+ years experience working in the Cloud Platform or IT industry

Knowledge of the cloud platform market segment technologies, best practices, vendors, and competitive landscape

Hands-on, data-driven approach, and an ability to work concurrently on several projects

Cross-functional leadership experience across development, operations, design, support, sales, product marketing, marketing, and partners

Strategic thinking with ability to untangle complex information and share it across teams in a digestible format, aligning compliance goals with business goal

Experience in implementing agile practicesand design thinking

Excellent communication and storytelling skills in English

Ability to work from the office in Bangalore

Preferred technical and professional experience

Masters in Business Administration

Experience in IBM cloud

Track record of high-quality, self-directed, timely execution, and attention to detail
