Job Description
Must-Have
- Mendix Expertise: 5+ years of experience with Mendix development, architecture, and best practices.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of Mendix architecture, data modeling, microflows, nanoflows, and integrations.
- Leadership and Collaboration: Proven experience leading technical design and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
- Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Certifications: Mendix Certified Developer or Architect certification (desired).
Good-to-Have:
Cloud Platforms: Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- DevOps: Familiarity with DevOps practices, such as continuous integration and continuous deployment.
- Agile Methodologies: Experience with Agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.
Responsibility / Expectations from the Role
Design and Implement Mendix Architecture: Develop and maintain a robust, scalable, and maintainable architecture for Mendix applications.
- Lead Technical Design: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and design technical solutions that meet business needs.
- Mendix Best Practices: Ensure adherence to Mendix best practices, design patterns, and coding standards.
- Performance Optimization: Identify and optimize performance bottlenecks in Mendix applications.
- Security and Governance: Ensure Mendix applications comply with security and governance standards.
- Collaboration and Mentoring: Collaborate with developers, provide guidance, and mentor junior team members.
- Stay Up-to-Date: Stay current with Mendix releases, updates, and emerging trends.
For Sr Developer: Expectations are
- Development of pages with company related customization
- Handling multi module environment
- SSO set up
- Email with deeplink and Saml configuration
- User Management
- Integration with other systems like PLM, SAP, Databases
- Reports management with Power-BI and Tableau integration
- Good knowledge of UI customization
- Develop the microflows, Sub microflows Nanoflows etc
- Develop schedulers
- Develop workflows for better execution
- Code review of the developers code
- Unit testing of the developed modules
- Implementing Mendix best practices
- Data handling (migration experience) is added advantage
