Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION As the Data Architect, we expect the candidate to be responsible for design of right data architecture design, help team in delivering right solution in accordance with the design and help establish the right practices around solution development & deployment. Primary work focus for the candidate is as under: 1. Architecture a. Customer Specific Implementations Support in definition of Architecture design that is reusable (for components across entire IT & Data ecosystem), scalable, cyber secure from a multidimensional perspective Applications, Integrations, Infrastructure and Data Support in right technology stack recommendations keeping in mind current needs/requirements and future enhancements/road map Data Migration, Warehousing, Analytics etc. Work closely with the Development team for supporting in implementation of the design. Support and oversee data migration activities from legacy systems to Azure/AWS platforms and recommend solutions. . Identify and document patterns in data relationships from different systems, working with large amounts of structured and unstructured data. Demonstrate advanced understanding of the data warehousing discipline, including data lakes, data mapping, data mining, dependencies, structured and unstructured data, SQL and ETL. Elicit requirements and communicate clearly with non-technical individuals, development teams and other project members. 2. Solution Development beyond blue printing Guide, review & validate to ensure right development & deployment of the product/solution according to the Blueprint (Architecture) Recommend and help ensure industry best practices are adhered to as a part of solution(s) implementation. Develop/Customize Standards for Manomays Design & SW Delivery across Life Cycle and ensure adherence. Fluent and current on architecture trends with an eye on market/technical conditions and future direction 3. Team Building, Mentoring & Nurturing around right principles, standards, and practices across life cycle. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE A Bachelor's (or higher) degree, ideally in Computer Science, MIS/IT, Mathematics, hard science or equivalent work experience. Overall experience of 10+ years with at least 5 years of experience as an Architect. Experience in E2E Solution Delivery a minimum of 4 to 5 projects complex to medium complex Projects, with onsite/offshore models is a plus. Experience working in full life cycle of data architecture projects discover, design, development, and implementation. Experience of working in BFSI or FinTech domains. Experience in Insurance domain is a great plus. Experience of working on various data specific initiatives as a part of Digital Transformation Initiatives, System Replacements/Upgrades and New System Implementations. Irrespective of the tech, following are the critical areas of expertise expected -Requirements Definition and Management from a tech context -Data Architecture -Technical Specialism (in any of the below tech stack is a great plus) -Professional Development -Systems Integration -Innovation Experience in the following Data tech stack is desirable -Direct experience working with Microsoft Azure stack - ADLS, ADF, Azure Data Bricks, Azure Streaming Analytics, Azure Synapse, Azure Cosmos DB, -AWS stack - Glue, Catalog, Redshift etc. -Streaming - Kafka, Azure Streaming Analytics -Data Modeling - Relational, Non-relational, Dimension, Data Vault -Languages - Python, PySpark, R -Databases - SQL Server, Oracle and other RDBMS -Data Lake - Big Data, Hive -ELT/ETL Related technologies SSIS, Talend etc. Expertise in design of ML & IoT based solutions is a plus. Experience in infrastructure design, security, and implementation standards. Experience of infrastructure management - Cloud/On Premise or Hybrid models. Hands on experience on DevOps and CI/CD is a great plus
