Overview
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Senior QA Engineer to join our quality assurance team at NCG. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in maintaining the high standards of our software products by developing and executing comprehensive test strategies. You will be responsible for validating the functional and non-functional aspects of both web and mobile applications, ensuring a seamless and defect-free user experience.
Working in an Agile environment, you will collaborate closely with developers, analysts, and project managers throughout the software development lifecycle. Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business and functional requirements
- Conduct comprehensive manual testing for both web and mobile applications
- Execute functional, regression, usability, and exploratory testing
- Log and manage bugs using JIRA or similar tools; track and ensure resolution of issues
- Collaborate with developers and business stakeholders to understand requirements and provide feedback
- Maintain detailed test documentation for compliance and future reference
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
- Provide clear and actionable feedback on product usability and performance
- Continuously improve testing processes and advocate for quality best practices
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 3 to 6 years of experience in software testing and QA
- Solid understanding of test planning, design, execution, and regression testing
- Experience working with JIRA or other defect tracking tools
- Familiarity with web and mobile application testing
- Understanding of SDLC, STLC, and various testing methodologies
