Job Description
Job Title Software Engineer/Senior Software Engineer (Test Engineering)Position Summary
- Take ownership and pride in ensuring the quality of product
- Ability to do impact analysis and test the features in an effective and efficient manner
- Striver for automation, and automate tests with strong test architectural principles
- Design test cases and scenarios
- End to End System Tests
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Accountable and responsible for the quality of new features & defect fixes
- Proactively own and drive actions to contain defects and improve quality
- Define end to end test scenarios and use cases based on requirements and design inputs
- Write quality code with our in-house automation frameworks
- Collaborate well with the team members
- Actively involve the development process
- Work with cross-functional teams
Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications
- Passion for testing & learning product functionalities
- Strong programming expertise
- Experienced in programming with any one or more of the programming languages: Java, Python, Ruby or equivalent
Education and Experience
- Bachelors or masters degree in engineering (Preferably from computer science and electrical engineering background)
- 3 6 years of test engineering experience with expertise testing scalable and distributed systems
- Should be comfortable with any one of the cloud platform AWS or Google Cloud platform
- Jenkins expertise is certainly a plus
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must pass pre-employment background verification
Travel Requirements
- Typically requires travel less than 5% of the time
Physical Requirements and Work Environment
- This is largely a sedentary role.
- This job operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment.
