As a Hardware/Software Administrator you will be responsible for managing NetApp s IT assets throughout their lifecycle. Their main goal is to ensure that IT assets are used efficiently and effectively. The successful candidate should have strong analytical, communication, and technical skills, be detail-oriented, organized, and have strong time-management skills.
Job Requirements
Manage, document and maintain an inventory of the organizations hardware and software using Service Now s HAM/SAM modules and documenting hardware items in our CMDB
Ensure that returned IT assets are disposed of according to established policies and procedures and all governmental and commercial security requirements.
Work with IT vendors to purchase hardware, software, and devices to ensure asset tags, asset identification, asset wipes, and asset disposal are performed to standard.
Develop computer and software standards. Contribute to policy and procedure documents. Maintain and enforce policies and procedures.Ensure license compliance and provide metrics on publishers and software packages to ensure the security of NetApp s software library and track usage.

Education
Bachelors degree in IT or related field
3+ years of experience in hardware or software asset management
Strong knowledge of industry best practices and standards and current support trends in cloud based platform and applications
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
Experience with Service Now, specifically hardware asset/software asset modules and CMDB principles using Service Now
