Job description
As an Assistant Virtual Sales Manager, your role is to support and assist the sales
team in achieving their targets and driving sales growth in a virtual or remote sales
environment
Here are some key responsibilities
Sales Team Support: You provide support to the sales team by assisting with lead
generation, prospecting, and qualifying potential customers
You may help with market research, identifying target markets, and creating customer
profiles
You also assist in maintaining customer databases and managing sales pipelines
Sales Training and Onboarding: You play a role in training and onboarding new sales
team members
This involves familiarizing them with sales processes, products or services, CRM tools,
and virtual sales techniques
You may also conduct sales training sessions or coordinate training resources
Sales Performance Monitoring: You monitor and track sales team performance,
including individual sales targets, key performance indicators (KPIs), and sales metrics
You ensure that the sales team has access to up-to-date and compelling sales
resources that effectively communicate product or service features, benefits, and value
propositions
Customer Relationship Management: You assist in managing customer relationships
by ensuring prompt and professional responses to customer inquiries and requests
You may support the sales team in maintaining regular contact with existing customers
to identify upselling or cross-selling opportunities
Virtual Sales Strategies: You contribute to the development of virtual sales strategies
and tactics
This includes identifying virtual sales best practices, exploring new sales channels, and
adapting sales techniques for remote or virtual environments
