Job Description
- Act as technical manager and mentor to a team of network engineers who:
- Implement, manage and support multiple vendor routers, switches, SDWAN, and load balancers.
- Implement, manage and support private cloud network infrastructure in a multi-VR environment, supporting many overlapping private customer networks.
- Implement, manage and support secure network infrastructure adhering to HIPAA and PCI-DSS requirements, provide evidence to security compliance teams for ongoing audits.
- Maintain and support a multi-tenant private cloud infrastructure supporting many overlapping private customer networks.
- Directly communicate with customers, hardware/software vendors and service providers.
- Apply mastery level expertise with knowledge of industry trends and ability to apply concepts in support of business requirements.
- Find solutions to isolate, resolve, and prevent the most complex network transport problems across multiple teams/technologies.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts within the data center network, external to the data center over various WAN connectivity methods, and over Internet-based connectivity.
- Independently review and verify changes/solutions of high complexity and ensure governance and change management practices are followed.
- Lead network related improvement projects in the private cloud environment to meet business needs and customer requirements.
- Act as Teir-3/4 support for troubleshooting and resolution of any network problems.
- Maintains organizational SLO, SLA, and business continuity programs.
- Provide on call support.
