 Technical Support Engineer

Job Description

Role & responsibilities


  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to customers via various channels (phone, email, chat, etc.) related to Windows and Linux operating systems.
  •  Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues on Windows and Linux platforms.
  • Assist customers with software installations, configurations, and upgrades.
  • Identify and document customer issues, inquiries, and resolutions in a detailed and accurate manner.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including developers and system administrators, to escalate and resolve complex technical problems.
  • Continuously expand knowledge and expertise in Windows and Linux systems to effectively support customer needs.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and FAQs for customer reference.
  • Provide training and guidance to customers on Windows and Linux best practices and troubleshooting techniques.

Preferred candidate profile


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Solid experience in providing technical support for Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting hardware and software issues on Windows and Linux platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems, including installation, configuration, and administration.
  • Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
