Job Description

Design, implement, and manage network security solutions
Maintain Next generation firewalls/ UTM (Checkpoint, Palo Alto, Fortinet), Web Application Firewalls (WAF), and Web Security Gateways WSG.
Manage routing and switching configurations to ensure secure network operations.
Implement and manage Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS).
Provide technical support and guidance to junior staff and other team members.
Manage complex firewall policies and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
Analyze network traffic using tools like Splunk and Wireshark.
Handle vendor management effectively.
Stay up to date with the latest security trends, threats, and technology solutions.

REQUISITE QUALIFICATION

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
6-8 years of experience in network security administration.
Relevant certifications from Checkpoint / Palo Alto / Fortinet / Cisco.

REQUISITE WORK EXPERIENCE

6-8 years of experience in network security administration in configuring, operating, and managing Firewalls, WAF and Web Security Gateways, Web Proxy

Extensive experience providing SME level support in large, highly dynamic enterprise environments.

SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED

Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls (Checkpoint, Palo Alto, Fortinet), UTM, Web Application Firewalls, Web Security Gateways, routing, switching, and IPS.

Expert in firewall device installations, maintenance, and usage of large-scale local and wide area networks.

Understanding of TCP/IP Network & Application Layer Firewall technologies.

Experience with network design, including network segmentation.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
