Purpose of the job:
- The product configuration and change management engineer is responsible for performing configuration and change management activities in SW development and deliverables.
- Responsibility also involves SW build and automation.
- Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment, automation with scripts.
Reports directly to:
- Product Configuration and Change Management Leader
Network & Links
- Program managers, SW architects
- Quality and Safety Leaders
- V&V Team
- Engineering Metier Leaders
- Leading Unit / Participating Units Managers
Key accountabilities:
- Candidate should have understanding of software and project configuration and change management with the below skills.
- - Configuration and Change Management Plan Authoring
- - Software Compilation Knowledge for various languages like C, C++, C#, Java.
- - Batch, shell, perl/python (any one) scripting
- - Knowledge about Software Development Life Cycle processes like waterfall, lean, agile, scrum, etc
- - Good documentation skills
- - Should have source code configuration management tool knowledge to include eg: Git
- - Should understand change management procedure. eg: Jira, ClearQuest
- - Soft skills like presentation, team player, quick learning ability

Job Specifications:
Qualification : Bachelor s degree in Engineering with 5 years of experience in Configuration and change management, SW build, scripting (python, perl, shell, batch)
Desirable: Contiguous Integration and Continuous Deployment
Knowledge & Experience :
- Fluent in customer language (English)
- Ability to foster communications between multiple stakeholders/metiers
- Technical Requirements Management
- Drive for results
- Ability for problem solving and efficient decision-making in complex environment
