In this rapidly evolving automotive world, drivebuddyAI looks for new ways to disrupt the status quo, go to market faster, and optimize customer experiences. We are seeking an experienced technical manager to lead the charge on this mission. The ideal candidate will have big ideas, strategies, and execution that will help drivebuddyAI expand across the globe as well as across the verticals. This role is ideal for someone with strong people management skills, knowledge and understanding of cloud platform development, infrastructure, embedded hardware & firmware along AI/ML development related to the product. The product is categorized in the IOT domain which requires an understanding of the verticals to manage cross-functional teams and manage deliveries across the product with dependencies. Responsibilities Lead and manage the entire lifecycle of the project under the product including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure. Define project scope. objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders. Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation plans to effectively manage project activities. Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and efficient execution of the project tasks. Manage project risks and issues, proactively identifying and implementing mitigation strategies. Monitor project progress continuously and make detailed scheduled reports on measurable items such as milestones and deliverables. Conduct regular project reviews to assess project health, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as necessary. Forster a collaborative and positive team environment, promoting effective communication and knowledge sharing in hybrid teams. Ensure adherence to software development best practices, coding standards, QA process, and documentation. Coordinate sprints, retrospective meetings, and daily standups. Resolve conflicts and remove obstacles for smooth deliveries. Requirements Bachelor's or Masters degree in Electronics or Computer Science. Proven experience as a project manager, preferably with a focus on IoT-based products or cloud platforms. Strong knowledge and understanding of software development methodologies, tools, and frameworks. Demonstrated ability to lead and manage cross-functional project teams. Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset. Experience with agile/scrum methodologies and project management tools. Familiarity with SDLC and QA process. Min. of 6-8 years of experience in management in IT/Embedded field including development work and customer interactions. Strong communicator - verbal written and presentation skills to the business as well as to the technical team. Stellar business knowledge and solution thinking - own what you build. A high bar across the board - from your contributions to the people you work with to the solutions you own. Must be good with data-driven decision-making.
