Storage Field Engineer (L2)

Job Description:

Candidate should have good experience on Implementation and Support of SAN/NAS Storage. Should be open for Field Support.

Job Requirement:

• Previous experience as a Field Engineer
• Installation and configuration (including Rack Mounting) of SAN/NAS storage like NetApp /Dell EMC/Hitachi Storage, etc. preferably NetApp storage
• Installation and configuration of SAN switches
• Knowledge of management services like SSH, SFTP, FTP, http.
• Configuration knowledge of all SAN/NAS protocols
• Configuration Knowledge of RAID, Volume, Aggregate, Snapshot, Snap Restore, Snap Mirror, Vol Copy, ndmp, LUN provisioning, etc.,
• Knowledge of Windows and Linux OS
• Basic Knowledge of Hypervisor and Virtual machine
• Basic Knowledge of Backup technologies (e.g. Commvault, Veeam and Veritas)
• Troubleshooting skills
• Ability to perform responsibilities remotely or on customer premises as needed
• Ability to participate in a 24x7 support
• Good Communication
• Aptitude for learning new technologies
• Ability to work occasional nights and weekends to deal with outages and maintenance windows
