Job Description

6 to 8 years of experience in Truck, BUS, Utility truck industry.
Good Technical knowledge on Sheet Metal, Aluminum and Plastics and process.
CAD Tool: Solid works (Preferred: SolidWorks Certified).
Knowledge of Mold Tool and Sheet Metal Tool will be added advantage.
Ability to read and interpretate the wiring and schematics related to electrical, Pneumatics and Hydraulics.
Good Knowledge on GD & T and Tolerance Stack up analysis.
Good Hands on with SolidWorks FEA or Ansys is necessary.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Study specifications of the project and ensures requirements are met timely with quality output.
Good hands-on experience on Concept generation and Detail design of parts and assemblies using SolidWorks CAD.
Knowledge of Engineering Drawing standards, Sheet metal design process, Plastics Process and Mechanical product design.
Experience on Sheet metal design, Thickness considerations and material selection.

Ability to guide team with Tolerance Analysis, GD & T application.
Experience with DFM / DFA / DFMEA methods.
Knowledge of Electrical routing and schematics using Solid works CAD.
Knowledge of Hydraulic and Pneumatics circuits and process.
Structural simulation (FEA) of parts and assemblies using SolidWorks simulation tool.
Provides Technical Solution, identifies gaps on application part and Product part in accordance with standards.
Clarify all technical doubts related to the project in consultation with internal and BU Engineering Team.
Manufacturability study, Feasibility study of the new concepts, Review and validate the outputs.
Team Management Responsibilities:
Ability to lead a team of 5 to 8 Design Engineers and take up Design Review
Meetings with customers directly.
Responsible for people management, mentoring, set team goals and KPI s.
